Is this a whole new steering wheel?
No. It is a leather cover that you sew onto your existing steering wheel. It covers the rim (the part you hold), not the spokes or the airbag.
How do I fit it?
The cover arrives with its edges already stitched. You place it around the rim and lace the two edges together with the needle and thread we supply, following our instructions. No holes to punch, no glue and no tools – most people finish in about 50 minutes. Step-by-step guide on our Fitting page.
Will it fit my wheel?
Each cover in our shop is made for the model and years in its name. If you're not sure your wheel matches (for example a facelift, sports or D-shaped wheel), send us a photo of your steering wheel through the contact form before ordering and we'll check it for you.
My vehicle isn't listed – can you still make one?
Send us a message through the contact form with the make, model and year, your wheel's outer diameter and grip circumference, and a photo of the wheel. We'll let you know if we can make a cover for it.
How do I measure my wheel?
1. Outer diameter: measure straight across the wheel from outer edge to outer edge, through the centre, in centimetres.
2. Grip circumference: wrap a soft tape (or a strip of paper) around the rim where you hold it and measure the length.
3. Take one photo of the whole wheel and one close-up of where the spokes meet the rim. Full guide on our Measure page.
Which leathers and colours can I choose?
Black smooth, black perforated (perforated is black only) and a palette of colour leathers. You choose any stitching colour from our thread chart. Colours shown are for reference only and may vary slightly depending on your screen settings and resolution.
How long does it take?
Every cover is made to order and dispatched within 3 working days. UK delivery usually takes 2–3 working days after dispatch.
Where do you ship?
UK: free tracked delivery (Royal Mail Tracked 48). Switzerland and Norway: £8.99, free on orders over £60. USA, Canada, Australia and other countries: £12.99, free on orders over £60. Yacht and boat covers ship free. We ship to the UK, Switzerland, Norway, the US, Australia, New Zealand and many other countries – see Shipping for the full list. Can I return it?
UK orders: return within 30 days of delivery and we pay the return postage. International orders: return within 30 days of delivery; return postage is paid by the buyer. Made-to-measure covers and yacht and boat helm covers are made to your size, so they can't be returned for a change of mind. If any item is faulty or not as described, we always put it right and cover the return cost. Do you make covers for yachts and boats?
Yes – leather helm wheel covers for wheels from 40 cm to 170 cm outer diameter, made in size bands. Measure your helm and choose the band that includes your measurement.
