Yacht & Boat Leather Steering Wheel Covers

Every boat wheel is different, so we make each cover to your size. Pick the diameter band that matches your wheel – from 40 cm up to 170 cm – choose your leather and stitching colour, and we cut and stitch the cover by hand in Devon, UK.

How it works

1. Measure the outer diameter of your wheel and choose the matching size (13 bands, 40–170 cm).

2. Choose your leather colour – 14 options, including solid and perforated black, navy blue, cream and white.

3. Type your stitching colour – 20 thread colours, from classic white to royal blue.

4. Add your wheel measurements in the optional field if you would like us to check the fit before we cut.

5. We make the cover and post it with the needle, thread and step-by-step instructions. You stitch it onto your existing wheel – no glue and no special tools.

A leather cover gives a firm, comfortable grip and protects the original rim. Each cover is cut to your size and the edges are stitched before it leaves our workshop, so all that is left is to stitch it onto your wheel.

FAQ

Which size do I need? Measure straight across the wheel from outer edge to outer edge and choose the band that contains that figure. If you are between bands or unsure, add your measurements in the optional field and we will check before we cut. See our measuring guide.

Will it fit a wheel with spokes close to the rim? The cover is stitched on around the rim, between the spokes. Add your rim thickness in the measurements field and we will confirm the fit.

How long does it take? All covers are dispatched within 3 working days, including made-to-size yacht and boat covers, with free UK delivery by Royal Mail Tracked 48.

Can I return a made-to-measure cover? Covers are made to your size, so our made-to-measure terms apply – please see our Made-to-Measure Terms and Returns pages.
