Two short films from our workshop in Devon: choosing and cutting the leather, sewing the cover, and the last step you do yourself.

Every Shades of Tuning cover starts in our small workshop in Devon. We filmed two short clips so you can see exactly what happens between your order and the parcel on your doormat.
1. Choosing and cutting the leather
We pick the hide in the colour you ordered and cut the pattern by hand to fit your wheel – each cover is cut individually, not stamped out in thousands (first film).
2. Stitch by stitch
The edges are sewn on our own machine, in black or in the thread colour you chose. Then the cover goes in the box with a needle, thread and printed instructions (second film).
3. The last step is yours
You lace the cover onto your wheel yourself – there are no holes to punch, you simply stitch through the ready-made seam. Most customers need about an hour. Our fitting guide shows every step.
Not sure about the size? See how to measure your wheel.
Music: Three Border Collies – "Walking Away" and "The Echo's Release".
